The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
