The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline including angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in power within the city.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the main group to begin their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the party enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect finding out which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
